Remedial Design / Remediation

After reviewing site investigation data and identifying client priorities, potential remedial alternatives for the proposed cleanup are identified by the design team. Each of these remedial alternatives are evaluated by the team for their effectiveness in regards to cost, duration of cleanup, required resources, site access, restrictions, permitting issues, hazards, and downstream liabilities.

PE has performed remedial designs for the remediation of soils contaminated with heavy metals (lead, arsenic, mercury, and chromium), hydrocarbons, asbestos, solvents, pesticides and insecticides, PCBs, volatile and semi-volatile compounds, cinders, ash, demolition debris, chlorinated compounds, and other miscellaneous materials.
